About Pennsylvania Voice

Established in 2010, Pennsylvania Voice is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to support and grow a statewide partnership of non-partisan organizations working to expand civic participation, make voting easier, and secure equitable representation in state government. Our partnership of 55 local and state-based organizations works year-round to create a more accessible, inclusive, and reflective democracy by amplifying the voices, leadership, and expertise of Black, Indigenous, Latinx, AAPI and Arab (BIPOC) communities that have historically experienced deliberate barriers to civic participation.

Our partnership is grounded in the belief that:

  • Democracy requires full participation and representation.

  • The pathway to power in Pennsylvania values BIPOC communities.

  • A fair and just society will be achieved collectively.

Pennsylvania Voice serves as the table at which partner organizations plan and coordinate their work. The partnership model provides a space for each organization to offer and receive expertise, build leadership capacity, and align its vision and commitment with statewide and movement-wide goals.

At Pennsylvania Voice, it’s our goal to create habitual, informed voters who vote in every election, every year and whose interests are equitably represented in state government.
